Turn your DS into a PDA

Shaun Taylor over at www.youngmx.com is working on a personal organizer for the Nintendo DS. Although its only at the beta stage and still has some know bugs to be fixed Shaun points out that ‘it is quite usable’.

Features listed on the site include

  • Calendar mode with editable reminders.
  • Day Planner mode with editable time slots.
  • Address Book with vCard support.
  • INI file settings, with a configuration screen in the app.
  • Handwriting recognition.
  • Multiple language support with Dutch, German, Italian and French translations available

    This has to be the one of the most exciting homebrew projects on the DS. Alongside SGStair’s tunnelling project and Moonshell (an MP3 player). Great stuff!
