Nintendo DS Games & News - DS Lite

Nintendo announced on Tuesday that worldwide sales of the DS had reached the 10 million mark. Of this, 4 million have been sold in the USA and 5 million in Japan, where the DS became the fastest selling video game machine ever.

“It is on the upswing of its life cycle,” said Nintendo of America’s vice president of marketing, Perrin Kaplan in an interview given to Reuters. Kaplan also reported that Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection had received over 550,000 unique visitors since its launch seven weeks ago.
