Burger and Wi-Fi

McDonalds are to offer wi-fi access to Nintendo DS gamers across the United States. The deal between Nintendo and McDonalds will mean that gamers will be have free access to their wireless network and will be able to play against other gamers anywhere in the world.

US firm Wayport will be providing the access points. Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime, said “This agreement with Wayport will bring countless people together to play games in a single, simultaneous wireless community”

Several wi-fi enabled games , including Mario Kart DS and Tony Hawk’s American SK8Land are due to be released by the end of this year.
